When Aladdin rubs a magic lamp, he releases a wild, lovable, hip Genie who grants him three wishes. The Genie wants to impress his new master with his extraordinary abilities so he puts on an extravagant show, imitating all kinds of characters. Soon, Aladdin and the Genie become very good friends. After Aladdin wins Princess Jasmine's heart and defeat the evil Jafar, he uses his last wish to free the Genie. The Genie immediately packs his bag, and with a tearful "group hug" goodbye, heads south. After 10,000 years in lamp, it's time for a vacation.
