Memorable Moment: Only months after winning the World Tag Team Championship in late 1996, Davey Boy Smith entered a tournament in Berlin, Germany to crown the first-ever European Champion. Ironically, the final two contenders were Smith and his tag team partner and brother-in-law, Owen Hart. Although both superstars showed incredible athleticism during what arguably was 1997's Match of the Year, in the end, the British Bulldog overpowered Hart. Davey Boy countered Owen's attempt for a victory roll and pinned him for the title.
